Dallas Cowboys Worn Down By New England Patriots 30-6

The Dallas defense welcomed Greg Hardy in a big way as the Cowboys harassed and sacked Tom Brady 5 times in the first half, but the New England Patriots kept coming and wore down the Dallas Cowboys 30-6.

Greg Hardy Hits Tom Brady

The Dallas Cowboys’ offense was only able to score three points in the first half, and they had to punt on 6 of their first 7 possessions.  The second half was much of the same as the Patriots’ defense pounded the lifeless Cowboys’ offense into submission.  Brandon Weeden was horrible finishing the day 26-39 for 188 yards and an interception.  The Make shift receiving corps couldn’t get open all day.

The Patriots’ defense keyed on the run forcing Weeden to pass.  The vaunted Cowboys rushing attack was held to under 100 total yards.  Joseph Randle rushed for 60 yards on 15 carries, but it was all in vane as the Patriots pretty much forced the punch less Dallas offense to cry uncle.

Dallas’ defense led by Greg Hardy’s 2 sacks has hope, but the offense is in desperate need of help.  They desperately need a #1 and #2 receiver, and as quiet as it is kept, they need a feature running back.

For the first time in 2015, the Cowboys fall under .500.  They are 2-3, and have a much needed bye week.
